Iterinary

Starting Point: Quad Safari Peninsula Office in Agia Pelagia.

• Check-in, safety briefing and a short driving practice before departure.
• Scenic warm-up ride along the coastline and surrounding hills.
• First Stop: Rodia a traditional Cretan mountain village. Enjoy a short photo stop with spectacular views over the Mediterranean Sea stretching all the way to Heraklion and a second stop in front of the Tower of Modino.
• Second Stop: Visit to a traditional olive oil museum, exploring ancient and modern production methods, with tasting of local olive oil, honey and other products.
• Third Stop: Achlada– guided walk through a nearby ghost village, frozen in time and surrounded by mountain scenery.
• Off-road riding through dirt tracks, olive groves and rugged mountain landscapes.
• Third Stop: Free time in the lush riverside village of Fodele, birthplace of El Greco. Explore local craft shops, walk through the village or taste the famous freshly squeezed orange juice.
• Relaxed return drive to Agia Pelagia under soft evening light, bringing the sunset adventure to a perfect close.

Driving a buggy feels intuitive and stable, making this tour especially suitable for families, couples and anyone who prefers a comfortable, car-like experience, while still enjoying scenic mountain roads and gentle off-road routes. From panoramic viewpoints and traditional villages to olive oil tasting and hidden ghost villages, this excursion brings together everything that makes Crete special — culture, nature, history and warm local hospitality.

A half-day experience designed to leave you with both beautiful photos and genuine memories beyond the tourist hotspots.

Important information A valid driving licence is required to drive a quad. Drivers must be at least 18 years old. Passengers are welcome (minimum age 4 years). Comfortable clothing, sunglasses and closed shoes are recommended. Not suitable for pregnant travellers. Please arrive 30 minutes before departure. Arriving later than 15 minutes before departure excludes passengers from participating in due to necessary preparation and safety briefing. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour.
